Wilderness First Aid: Emergency Care in Remote Locations - Scout BSA Edition

Through ECSI (Emergency Care and Safety Institute), Wilderness First Aid: Emergency Care in Remote Locations will be offered through our council.  This or a similar course is required for any high adventure program.  

This is a 16-hour course.  In this course you will learn how to manage situations in the back country when help is not close by.  There will be visual aids, lecture sessions and hands-on training.

This will be an in-person program.  Two, 8-hour sessions, May 18^th 8am-5pm and May 19^th 8am-5pm.  All classes will be held at the Milwaukee Scout Service Center (330 S 84 St, Milwaukee, WI).  Scouts attending must be at least Life Rank.  Coffee will be provided in the morning and sandwiches and snacks will be available for lunch on both days.  Feel free to bring your own lunch if you have any special dietary restrictions.

Cost is $180 per person.
