Dear Scout Leaders and Parents:
Welcome to our Weekly Challenge Email for the week of May 25. These challenges revolve around a theme that Scouts, parents and families can do together while Scouting at Home. This week’s theme is “Citizenship & Patriotism”.

Citizenship & Patriotism Challenge
Being a participating citizen in our community, state and nation is something that all Scouts learn to do.
Voting in elections and honoring individuals who serve our country are ways we practice citizenship and patriotism. This week, we want you to learn more about being a citizen of your community and nation.
A Scout Salute to Fallen Heroes
In a partnership with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the Boy Scouts of America is calling on Scouts across the country to build on the tradition of honoring our nation’s fallen heroes this Memorial Day. Scouts are encouraged to post public tributes to our veterans in partnership with the National Cemetery Administration and to participate in a National Moment of Remembrance with a special Scout salute. Click here to learn how to participate.
