All unit recharters were due by December 31. If your unit is among those that have turned in their recharter, our Program Services staff is working as quickly as they can to process your recharter. Thank you in advance for your patience as they work through all recharters and other time-sensitive projects.
If your unit has not turned in its recharter, this needs to be a top priority to complete as soon as possible. Rechartering is how our members maintain the benefits of registration with the BSA, including liability insurance, advancement tracking, Boys’ Life subscriptions and more.
Remember that all adults must be current on Youth Protection Training to maintain their registration with the BSA. You can update your training at my.scouting.org. Additionally, adults that have not yet submitted the Criminal Background Recheck Authorization must do so as soon as possible to remain registered with the BSA.

But this is more than an excuse to eat an extra s’more and commemorate another year of Scouting adventures. It’s also when packs, troops, crews and ships honor a Scout’s “duty to God.”
Through a trio of faith-based celebrations known as Scout Sunday, Scout Sabbath and Scout Jumuah, young people give back to the chartered organizations that give them so much. Click here to learn everything you need to know about Scout Sunday 2021, Scout Sabbath 2021 and Scout Jumuah 2021!
