We continue to make good progress in completing recharters this year as more than 104 unit recharters are posted! For those units that have turned the recharter into one of our Service Centers but still need to gather missing paperwork or payment, please work with your Unit Commissioner and/or District Executive to get that turned in as soon as possible.
For any unit that does not submit their online recharter by March 1, any work in that system will be lost. You will need to begin the rechartering process all over and it will have to be done on paper starting March 1. Any unit’s recharter this is not posted by March 1 will drop, losing access to BSA support such as liability insurance and advancement processing. Please work with your Unit Commissioner and/or District Executive to prevent your unit charter from dropping! Remember that all adults must be current on Youth Protection Training to maintain their registration with the BSA. You can update your training at my.scouting.org. Additionally, adults that have not yet submitted the Criminal Background Recheck Authorization must do so as soon as possible to remain registered with the BSA.

With the first month of 2021 behind us, we are looking forward to a great 2021 Family Friends of Scouting campaign. Just like any other year, in 2021, Three Harbors Council is counting on your financial support to continue to provide the best possible programs and services it can to Scouting units throughout Kenosha, Milwaukee and Racine Counties. While your unit’s FOS presentation may look different than it has in the past, conducting that presentation is something that still needs to take place to provide your families with the opportunity to make a gift this year. In addition to presentations, look for other methods of contact, including more mailings and emails to try to reach our donors. Thank you, in advance, for your support of the annual Friends of Scouting campaign!

Register today for our 2021 Camp Card Sale!
This is a risk-free fundraiser designed to assist Scout in funding their summer activities. Cards contain deals and discounts from local restaurants and businesses, which the Scouts sell, earning a commission! To register your unit for this year’s sale, go to www.ThreeHarborsScouting.org/CampCard.
Three Harbors Council is proud to support our front line workers with our Camp Card Sales. This year we will offer the option for Scouts to sell cards that will then be donated to local Front Line workers such as doctors, nurses, and more as we continue to battle the ongoing pandemic. This will help the Scouts to sell more Camp Cards by selling one or more to each customer, and selling another card that will be donated. All cards sold to the Front Line Heroes will be distributed by the Three Harbors Council to our local heroes.
