OCTOBER 31 RESULTS
Aurora District
Red Arrow District
Southern Shores District
Congratulations to all Packs for their success recruiting Cub Scouts this fall!
COUNCIL RECRUITMENT INCENTIVES
Resources continue to be available from Three Harbors Council for continued follow-up recruitment efforts. Advertise your next Pack Meeting or an upcoming Pack activity. This follow-up recruitment event should be tied-in to something your Pack already has scheduled like an upcoming Pack Meeting or outing. By providing the council with follow-up recruitment event information, we can make additional flyers and have other material available for you.
Each year, as Cub Scout recruitment winds down and before rechartering picks up, Three Harbors Council will do a roster check of your unit roster to help make certain all members are properly registered with your unit. Submit your unit-maintained roster to your district executive so he/she can check that against our records. We’ll inform you if any of the members on your roster do not appear in our records and work with you to register those youth as soon as possible. This will ensure those members are covered by BSA insurance, can advance, are on your roster before starting rechartering, and more!
Thank you to the volunteers in each district for their work in promoting and supporting the School Night plan this fall. Without your leadership, we would not have been as successful as we were.
Thank you to all the unit leaders who followed the council School Night plan, using the promotional materials available from council, setting-up a stand-alone recruitment event, and utilizing technology to make the registration process easier for families. We saw outstanding results in the Packs that really followed the recruitment plan and executed it well!
PEER RECRUITING INENTIVE DATE CHANGE
A few weeks back, we shared a new incentive for peer recruiting where one Scout will get four tickets to a Bucks game. Due to circumstances beyond our control, that game will now be the November 22 game rather than the December 1 game as we originally expected. We apologize for any inconvenience
BEASCOUT.ORG
Continue to check your BeAScout.org leads because there are still families looking to join Scouting! Every day, new leads appear as, more and more, this IS the way that many families are finding a pack near them and signing-up to join Cub Scouts.
While the primary season for recruitment is ending, it’s still important to keep your unit’s BeAScout.org pin updated so families can still get connected to your pack. During rechartering, unit leadership may change, so plan now to update your BeAScout.org pin contact and meeting information at the right time for a seamless transition to new leadership!
Once your pin is updated, be sure to visit the Invitation Manager and Application Manager sections of my.scouting.org to follow-up on any membership leads you have and to approve applications.
