2022 Cub Scout Fall Recruitment - #AdventureOn
School has begun or will begin next week, and Cub Scout recruiting follows very soon! Thank you to you for your commitment to helping units achieve their Cub Scout recruiting goals this fall, which we expect will result in at least 950 new Cub Scouts joining Scouting this fall!
Please visit Three Harbors Council’s Cub Scout Recruitment Resources webpage to find all the tools and resources you’ll need to recruit Cub Scouts this fall. Don’t delay ordering your marketing material from the council to support your fall recruitment efforts. In addition, national has some great resources available that you can use.
Cub Scouts are the life blood of the BSA, so we need to make sure we’re doing everything we can to recruit as many Cub Scouts and families as possible this fall into our Cub Scout Packs! Remember these three things to ensure we’re set-up for Cub Scout recruitment success this fall:
- When families attend a recruitment event, they attend to join and pay fees THAT NIGHT!
- In the fall, everyone in Scouting is involved in youth membership growth!
- Cub Scouts is an adventure you can take with your child!

- Begin your unit roster check to make sure all participating members, youth and adult, are registered in your unit. Submit applications for unregistered members no later than September 30.
- Identify leaders whose Youth Protection Training will expire on or before January 31, 2023; ask those leaders to renew their Youth Protection Training before September 30.
