2022 Cub Scout Fall Recruitment - #AdventureOn
We’re one month into the start of school and our Cub Scout recruitment campaign is going well. Through the end of September, more than 533 new Cub Scouts have joined our programs! We are in great shape to reach our goal of 950 new Cub Scouts by October 31!
With activities like New Cub Scout Fun Day, Harvest Weekend, and Haunted Hayride, make sure that all your new Cub Scouts are registered as soon as possible, especially if your Pack has a follow-up recruitment event planned in October. Visit Three Harbors Council’s Cub Scout Recruitment Resources webpage to find all the tools and resources you’ll need to conduct a follow-up recruitment event, including additional flyers, posters, yard signs, and event geofencing.
Cub Scouts are the life blood of the BSA, so we need to make sure we’re doing everything we can to recruit as many Cub Scouts and families as possible this fall into our Cub Scout Packs! Remember these three things to ensure we successfully reach out goal of 950 new Cub Scouts recruited this fall:
- When families attend a recruitment event, they attend to join and pay fees THAT NIGHT!
- In the fall, everyone in Scouting is involved in youth membership growth!
- Cub Scouts is an adventure you can take with your child!

2023 Internet Rechartering is Open!
Internet rechartering opened on October 1 for all units in Three Harbors Council. Key enhancements have been made to the process and rechartering looks to be easier than ever this year.
Every unit leader can do one thing to make the rechartering process easier this year: update Youth Protection Training by October 31. More than 500 leaders must renew Youth Protection Training before December 31 to keep your training current. Updating Youth Protection Training NOW will prevent unnecessary delays for the individual processing your unit’s recharter.
Your goal should be to complete your recharter online and submit it for processing no later than November 15. The council will work to process your recharter and resolve any defective issues in your recharter by December 15.
