Eagle Scout Class Honoree Chris Layden Prolink, Chief Operating Officer Growing up in Milwaukee, Chris Layden joined Cub Scouts where he earned the Arrow of Light prior to crossing over into Troop 31. In 2000, Chis earned the rank of Eagle Scout and went on to serve as an Assistant Scoutmaster for his troop. After graduating from high school, Chris attended Boston College and studied at the University of Oxford. Following college graduation, Chris returned to Milwaukee where he re-engaged in Scouting as District Chair for the Iron Horse District. In 2018, Chris was elected as President of Three Harbors Council. In total, Chris served as a member of the council’s Executive Board for 17 years. In addition to Scouting, Chris has served on the boards of the Milwaukee Public Library, Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra, United Way of Greater Milwaukee, Northwest Side Community Development Corporation, United Performing Arts Fund, and the Milwaukee Academy of Science. Professionally, Chris is Chief Operating Officer of Prolink, a premier workforce solutions organization, based in Cincinnati, Ohio. Prior to joining Prolink, Chris served as Senior Vice President of ManpowerGroup in Milwaukee. Chris and his wife, Emilia, have two school-age children and the family has recently relocated to Cincinnati. |
