What is BALOO training?
BALOO stands for Basic Adult Leader Outdoor Orientation. It’s designed to introduce all Cub Scout leaders to opportunities for pack overnight camping. It emphasizes running an effective outdoor program with the focus on camping. This course will cover all training related to Cub Scout camping. Adults leading a pack or den overnighter MUST attend this training. All packs must have a BALOO trained person at all times on overnight trips.
Date: Saturday, September 28, 2024 to Sunday, September 29, 2024
Time: 8:30 a.m. Saturday until 11:00 a.m. Sunday

Cost: The cost for this training is $35.00 and includes lunch and dinner on the 28th, and breakfast on the 29th.
All participants must take the online BALOO pre-requisite training V2 on My.Scouting.org prior to coming to the course.
Please sign up by Monday, September 23, 2024 to secure a spot in this fun filled training course and so we can plan accordingly. No walk-ins please.
This training will take place outdoors so please be prepared for the weather. This course requires one overnight in a tent. You will receive a packing list of required and recommended camping items after registration. It is your responsibility to arrive prepared for the overnight in a tent.
