Join us on Wednesday, January 27th for our online Webelos Engineer Adventure Clinic. After you sign up, you will receive a link for the Zoom call the evening before the clinic.
Open to all currently registered Webelos. The requirements for the Engineer Adventure can be found at: http://usscouts.org/usscouts/advance/cubscout/webelos-aol-elective.asp#engineer
There are 4 requirements for this adventure, but requirements 3 and 4 are optional. We will be completing requirements 1 and 2 and will also discuss requirement 3 in this clinic.
The following pre-work around requirements 1 and 2 should be completed before the clinic:
- Pick one type of engineer. With the help of the Internet, your local library, or an engineer, discover three things that describe what that engineer does.
- Do the following:
- Prepare your own drawing or specifications (text description) to design a project.
- Using your drawing or specifications from your own design, complete your project. Your project may be something useful or something fun.
Both requirements also include sharing with your den, which will be our “virtual” den in the clinic. Webelos should be prepared to share what they learned and did for these two requirements. In particular, they should plan on about 2-3 minutes to show and describe their drawing or specification and their project.
