| Scouts BSA Position-Specific Training and Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills (IOLS) are the basic training requirements for every Scoutmaster and Asst. Scoutmaster to deliver a quality program for Scouts BSA youth. Three Harbors Council is pleased to offer this training opportunity. All Scouts BSA Scoutmasters and Asst. Scoutmasters as well as adult leaders crossing over from Cub Scouts to Scouts BSA should attend this course. Participants will learn troop structure and the patrol method, providing guidance on leadership and advancement opportunities of Scouts, facilitating troop activity planning, and basic outdoor skills. To be trained as a Scoutmaster or Asst. Scoutmaster, registered leaders must complete Youth Protection Training, Hazardous Weather Training, Scouts BSA Position-Specific Training and Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills. |
